Expats join push for autonomy
Two expatriates from the Cordillera took time during their recent visits home to endorse the renewed effort to establish an autonomous region in these highlands.

A Cordilleran is a Filipino citizen who has at least one of the ff. qualifications: domiciled within the territory of the Cordillera Administrative Region; has lived in the region for the last two years; is married to a Cordilleran; born to Cordilleran parents; a full blooded Cordilleran or a full blooded Igorot (FBI).
This means that even if you are not a full blooded Cordilleran because you are an Ilocano, Pangasinense, Pampangeño, Tagalog, Visayan or Mindanaoan, for as long as you live in the Cordillera, you are a Cordilleran.
